Job description
The job title gives away the duties. Because as a production planner, you are responsible for guiding production and creating and monitoring production planning based on incoming orders.
You organise the drafting of workshop documents and track the progress of orders.
You control the availability of raw materials, materials, and tooling supplies.
You communicate with the purchasing department about the availability of materials.
You anticipate and respond to unexpected problems, such as breakdowns, material quality issues, and shortages.
You consult with the production manager and project managers to fine-tune the scheduling of machinery and staff.
You ensure customers receive their orders on time.
You identify risks responsible for downtime and propose solutions.
For all the above, you use a scheduling tool to optimally use all resources.
Your profile
Preferably, you already have relevant experience in production planning and/or machinery planning. However, we also equally value your motivation, experience, attitude, and drive.
Planning and organising are your best skills.
Clearly, you are keenly interested in engineering, are technically minded, and have experience with mechanical drawings.
A huge plus is knowledge of CNC machines and boring machines (Deckel, Mazak, Pegard, etc.).
You are communicative. Our company language is Dutch, but you can also express yourself fluently in English.
You have a real hands-on mentality. Flexibility is second nature to you.
